i am superman

After I brushed my teeth and washed my face, I jumped on my desktop to check my mail and catch up with a few people. By sheer chance, Jeannie sighned on and I IMed her.

She had called me on Sunday night freaking out about a movie that she had to put together. I suggested that the easiest way to do it would be to find someone with a computer. I suggested Andy or Andrew. If she couldn't do that, she would have to manually edit it with a VCR and camcorder; which would take an insane amount of time.

So I IM her to ask her how her video is going. Apparently, not very well. She had gone over to Andrew's earlier that day to do the majority of the editing, but there were still some scenes missing. She was staying over a friend's house to try and finish it up since it was due on Tuesday. Unfortunately, some of the wires and what not that she needed for the camera, she happened to leave at Andrew's place. I asked her what I could do and she told me that I could go get the wires for her. I of course, acquiesced.

I threw on a shirt and my jacket and jumped in the car. I vaguely remembered where Andrew lived, but since his neighborhood is so dark at night, it was really hard to find my way around. I, later found out, made a wrong turn and ended up driving in circles. I called M up mapquest my location in relation to Andrew's house. I was on the phone with her for maybe 10-15 minutes while I drove around.

Mapquest wasn't much help. I kept naming intersections, but her DSL sucks and couldn't retrieve some of the zoomed in maps. I eventually wandered around and found it on my own. I grabbed the wires and ran off to Montville.

I gave the wires to a very very thankful Jeannie. I was glad that I could help. As I left her friends place, it was around 12:35 AM EST.

When M couldn't find my location or give me proper directions, I kind of got angry with her. I was probably more angry at myself for driving around and just out of my general frustration. I called her back and apologized for my poor behavior.

It was actually kind of good that I came out so late. I needed gas anyway.

I am Superman.
