AP small group party

The party was really good. We had tons of food. Lasagna, ribs, salad, california rolls. A very good spread.

After dinner, we played some Hold'Em for chips. It was fun because the kids call everything. They'll play some of the worst hands and just try to bluff everyone else out. It was a good time and I just kind of threw my chips in. I didn't really care if I won, I was out to have a good time.

People were getting knocked out left and right. Those that were, went to play Time Crisis.

While we were eating dinner, Brian commented that we should watch a movie. Vincent suggested that we watch Fight Club because not many of them have seen it. Not to mention it's an excellent excellent film. When they finish playing, we go to put the movie in and for some reason, they decide to watch Bring It On instead. Not that Bring It On is bad, but it's just such an odd change to go from Fight Club to Bring It On.

I put it in, and the kids really got into it. They were reading the subtitles pretending to be the characters. When people would stand up and clap or cheer, they would do it too. It was great fun.

After the movie, we played a little more Hold'Em and Time Crisis. Then I had to drive Ryan to church for his mom to pick him up.

Around 11, almost everyone was gone. Pat was the only one that decided to sleep over. I put in Madden 2002 and we made characters for us. I was this huge muscular QG, while Pat was this gigantic ball of a FB. He was 7 ft, 280 lbs, all fat and all muscle. His character was like a beach ball. When he got tackled or when he fell down, he just kind of rolled over, not really falling.

Good times.
