prepping for party

Lasagna requires a lot of water to boil. I set it on the stove and let it boil while I prepared everything else. There wasn't much to do because the meat sauce was already prepared. I just used the left over sauce from the Perspectives Cast party. I mixed the rocata with plenty of mozzarella, pepper, and other seasonings. I got some parsley and tossed it in there. Nothing like fresh herbs to spice up a meal.

The water still hadn't boiled yet, so I jumped in the shower real quick. By the time I got out, the water was furious. I had to throw the pasta in wearing just a towel. Now that's dangerous cooking.

After I changed, I built the lasagna and let it sit. I was done pretty early.

I threw in the scallops wrapped in bacon and asked my mom to put in the lasagna after 16 minutes. I had to go pick up Pat and Ryan from church.

By the time I got back, Brian was already there and Vincent came in right after us. The lasagna and ribs were in the oven and we'd be able to eat soon. I plated the scallops and set up Time Crisis 2 for the boys to play.
