monday with m

I was planning to take M to go see the Passion of the Christ tonight. The earliest showing that we could make was at 7:00 PM EST. By the time I got to her house to pick her up, it was around 6:00 PM EST. She had prepared a small thing of soup so we wouldn't be totally starved at the movie. Also had some cinamon toast waffles.

I don't know if i was just lazy or what, but I didn't want to drive all the way to Cinema 12 and have to come back to M's. So, I pushed her to drive. I played hard hardball too. She asked her mom.

At first, her mom wouldn't let her. It wasn't until like 10 minutes before the movie was going to start that her mom said it was okay. If we really rushed, we would be able to make it, but not with M's driving.

We ended up not seeing it. Instead, we went to rent the Hulk. It was just as good as the first time, if not better. There were little subtle things about the film that you don't pick up until you watch it again.

I found an interesting phenomenon when playing DVD's in my PS2. When you put subtitles on, it layers the subtitle near where the person speaking it is. It's a very nice effect. Makes your eyes have to travel a bit more, but its nice.

I took the left over strawberry ice cream, a banana, and some fruit punch and made a strawberry banana smoothie. I put a little too much fruit punch in it, but all in all, it was good.

After the Hulk, my mom came in and wanted to play some DDR. I put it in and tought her how to play some. It was great fun, watching M and my mom both try to play. I was still a little sore from playing on Sunday but I played anyway. I actually played some songs on Heavy Mode and did very well.

While we were playing, I was making fun of M because at one point, my mom was actually doing better than she was. It was hilarious.

Around 10:45 PM EST, M had to go home. I needed to get ready for bed, so I left my mom to play the game by herself.
