Hoboken
The weather was beautiful on Saturday. The sun was out and the temperature was a cool but pleasant 53°F. Jimmy IMs me and asks me if I want to do anything. I didn't have any plans and the weather was so nice, I couldn't say no.
Initially, he wanted to go to Greenwich Village. I have no problem with going in to the city, but I look at things in terms of purpose. If you want to go to the Village to shop, there's better places to do that. So I suggested we go to Hoboken instead. It's not as nice as the Village, but its got the same sort of atmosphere.
I got to Jimmy's place and just kind of hung out for a bit while we waited for Ben. We watched some TV and just chatted. Ben finally showed up and we were off.
We spent the first 30 minutes or so walking up and down Washington looking for a place to eat. It was around 3:30 O'Clock and we were all getting pretty hungry. There's plenty of places to eat at Hoboken, but we were all fairly apathetic. We walked up and down Washington twice before settling on this chinese place.
Once we saw the menu, my expectations just tanked. It was basically Chinese Take out. Mediocre at best.
After lunch, we wandered up and down Washington some more. There weren't a lot of shops that we were interested in going to but it was fun just hanging out none the less.
We went back to Jimmy's place and just watched some more TV.
