Aming Eye for the Wey Guy

M is too good to me.

She was so excited about the gifts that she got me for my birthday, she couldn't wait for me to open them. Initially, I didn't want to open them BECAUSE she wanted me to open them really bad.

Eventually, I gave in and opened them last night before dinner.

It was great. M pulled together this whole Queer Eye theme where each gift was one of the five categories from the show.

• Interior Design - She got me this awesome stainless steal draped chandlier from Design Within Reach.
• Grooming - Microtouch razor and pedicure set.
• Culture - Accordian fold out photography book.
• Food & Wine - Tumbler stemless wineglasses.
• Fashion - Guess black tuxedo shirt and Chinese style cufflinks from Banana Republic.

I know that gifts aren't a measure of how much someone cares about you, but the amount of thought that went into the whole thing was amazing. It makes turning a year older a little more bearable.
