Surprise, Paul

This has definately been an interesting weekend.

Went to Sushi for lunch on Saturday and had some of the wackiest and funny conversations in a long time. I miss just sitting around wiht friends and talking about stuff that doesn't make sense. The world makes to much sense as it is, it's good to have a bit of nonsense every once in awhile.

After lunch, we went shopping and I picked up some random things that I've been meaning to pick up for awhile. The highlight of this was when I whipped out my cards at Ann Taylor and started playing Texas with Jehf. Some stranger sat down next to us and I dealt him in. It was pretty rediculous.

We went from the mall, straight to Marlboro for Paul's surprise party. Perna was too big of a sissy to drive in the rain, which had stopped several hours earlier.

The party was so lame. I haven't been to a party this lame in a long time. Think, pizza and soda. Now, that wouldn't be so bad if it were just a few people and the pizza was good. But it was all plain pies! Who does that? I mean, if you're going to order like 6-8 pies, at least order some with some toppings.

The soda thing wouldn't have been that big a deal, except that Paul loves to drink. Considering that practically every gift that he received was some form of alcohol, you would expect there to be a good amount of liquor being served.

Even the games that they played were stupid. Luckily, I had my Rubik's Cube. I showed of my skills and managed an amazing 44 seconds. I would venture to guess that it's be personal record. On average though, I get closer to 50 seconds. My new goal is to average in the 40s.

The highlight of the party was the ice cream cake from Cold Stone Creamery. It was this coffee ice cream with bits of toffee in it. I had three big pieces. Dang I'm fat.

It was good seeing everyone, even if I didn't really get to hang out with them too much. Now to plan the PSW party.
