Election Recap

I went out to vote last night. It was one of the easiest things I ever did. There was literally no line when I got there. I told them my name, they found me in their book, I signed, went to the booth, pressed all the Republican buttons, and was done. Probably less than 1 minute total.

I tried watching the election ticker on TV. What was I thinking? It was so grossly boring. I watched for about 3 hours until realizing that they wouldn't have a winner that night. Now it's Wednesday morning, and there still isn't a clear winner, even though it does look like Bush is going to reelected.

The only saving throw of watching the election was my laptop. I sat there in front of the TV with Firefox reloading 4 or 5 pages with state information. I tabbed through the windows, checking on Bush's progess in the key states such as Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

I look forward to another four years with a good president.
