Interview: Securinex
So I went to an interview last night at Securinex. It's this small startup company with about 9 employees right now. After talking to the guy who's going to hire me, I found that I wanted this job really bad. So far, all the jobs that I've picked up was because I wanted to get paid. It didn't really matter what I was doing, as long as I was paid. This is the first time that I don't care how much I'll be making; it's just that interesting.
The potential to grow and to learn is enormous. I haven't been this excited about something in a long time. It got to the point where I had trouble sleeping last night. I'll be doing a lot of grassroots software development. Working in C/C++, Java, PHP, and possibly some Perl. It's going to be long hours and a lot of work, but after just sitting here for the past 8 months, I'm itching to do some real work.
Keep me in your prayers. I should hear from them by the end of the week to early next week.
