shin splints
After work, I went running with Dave. We ran for about a mile before I started getting shin splints. The rest of my body was fine. I was breathing hard, but I didn't feel dizzy and my breathing was still rhythmic. We stopped and walked the rest of the way with my shins killing me. Even after we got back to Dave's, my shins still killed. It took about 15 minutes worth of stretching to get it so that I could even walk alright.
We think that it's my shoes. I've been running in my Skechers, and I know these things aren't meant to do any serious amount of running. But I didn't think that they would be this bad. I guess I'll have to go shoe shopping this Saturday.
