city of heroes

We went out to get gyro's today for lunch. Mmmm, they were good.

After lunch, we had some time to kill, so we went to Gamestop. I didn't intend on buying anything really. Dave was looking for a game to play, something long that could take up a good amount of his time. As we were meandering around the store, the store clerk brought out City of Heroes.

I had read about this game a while back. Just last week, there was a Slashdot article about the end of the beta. I thought it would be a lot longer before the game shipped, but I guess I was wrong.

I had thrown myself into Freedom Force when it came out like 3 years ago. Tim and I both loved that game. We had always talked about how cool it would be if there was a MMOG for it. And now there is!

The server goes up tomorrow at 1 AM EST. We'll probably be on somtime Wednesday night. So come look for Dave and myself.
