cast party

After church, we had the cast party at my place. My mom was nice enough to prepare food for all of us.

I tend to have this issue of people RSVPing, and then not coming. It always leaves me with way too much food.

The cast party was very good. We ate family style around my dining room table. There was beef noodle soup, sphagetti, fried dumplings, and scallion pankcakes.

After lunch, we gathered and debriefed. We talked about everyone's impressions of Perspectives and the process that led up to it. I still don't think the kids fully understand what it means to worship God through their lives. They're still caught up in the idea that you can only worship him through music or anything overtly evangelical. This may not be the core issue though. Whatever the issue is, I know that God knows, and He will take care of it. As leaders, all we can do is our best and let God take care of the results.
