Todd TV
i caught an episode of todd tv, and it is truly awful. you would think that someone who signed up for their life to be controlled/dictated by the viewing audience would be more inclined to obey. considering, it is contractual.
you would also think that people would just be more sadistic. perhaps, people are just waiting, biding their time to make the guys life even more miserable then it already is.
perhaps i'm approaching the show from the wrong angle. it's not about the short term consequences of his actions, but life altering events. instead of chosing which way he turns at any given intersection, we just give him an overall direction that he so desperately desperately needs. or perhaps the show is just lame.
you would think that they, as in the producers or whoever's in control, would give the audience more control, more choices. as it is, each show, the audience is only given 2 things to change, and 2 options for each change. and these changes aren't big either. at least, they're not interesting at all.
for this episode, the audience had to choose who would move in w/ him, his therapist, or his mother. and what job he got, working for bret michaels or for a singing telegram. personally, i would have loved to see him living w/ his mom again and becoming a singing telegram. but perhaps, his mom would be a little too loving and too caring. on the other hand, she may be a naggy bitch.
in the end, NO ONE CARES! the guy is such a whiny little bitch. all he does is complain about this and about that. about how he hates the show and he doesn't like the decisions that people are making for him. these aren't big decisions. your life isn't going to end because your therapist has just moved in w/ you. wake up, your life isn't as important as you make it out to be.
you're making 5k a week just to do these things. if the show runs for a full season of 24 episodes, you'll be making 120k before taxes. you have a sweet deal! i would love to have the opportunity to do fun crazy things (supposedly), to meet new people and make some cash while i'm at it.
