Superbowl?
Why do they call it the Superbowl? What's really super about it? Where does the bowl come into play? I guess the stadium is kind of like a bowl. Imagine eating cereal out of that bowl? How big would the giant have to be to eat out of that thing?
Let's start with some basic assumptions. The average size of a bowl is about half the size of a person's foot. That means Giant Stadium would be half the size of the giant's foot. Gian stadium is about 600' wide. That means the giant's foot is about 1200' long. A person's height is about 6 times the length of their foot. So the giant would be 7200' tall. A little under half a mile. In comparison, the world's tallest tower is a little more than 1600' tall. So the giant is about 4.5 times the size of the tallest building. The giant would have a 3300' waist.
For comparison, the giant's stride would be about 3600', about 3/4s of a mile. His run stride would be a little more than a mile. The giant would weigh over 143 million tons.
That's one big giant.
