Cardigan by Varvatos

Sort of on a whim, we decided to go shopping on Saturday. Ben went to Banana Republic to get his $500 gift card. I didn't really have much of an agenda.

M and Nance spent most of the time looking at shoes. I still don't understand what it is about girls and bags and shoes. They all look the same to me. They both ended up getting hooker boots. Apparently, every girl wants a pair of hooker boots.

I didn't get anything until we went to Varvatos. I saw the huge sale sign, but even with a sale, the prices are out of my range. We decided to go in anyway.

Looking around, everything was at least 50% off. Some things I couldn't justify, like dress shirts. But sweaters, which normally cost close to $100 anyway, paying almost $200 for a cashmere or merino sweater is pretty worthwhile.

I've been looking for a double full zip cardigan to replace the one from Banana Republic that my mom shrunk. I found one and got it for only $89! It was actually cheaper than the cardigan from BR.

You couldn't imagine how big my smile was when I heard the final price. I was expecting to pay close to $200 for it. The cardigan ended up being 75% off.

Now I own my first piece of Varvatos.
