Laptop no Sound

So I've been toying around with my laptop at work. Everything on the software end seems fine. Device manager of course tells me my device is working properly, even though it isn't. The sound is not muted. The volume is turned up. I don't have anything else running (not even services) that could be taking up the resources. My laptop just refuses to play sound out of its own speakers or through the headphone jack.

Even though device manager tells me that everything is fine, I am guessing there is a hardware issue. Great. Here I am, 6 months past warranty. I knew I should've gotten the extended warranty. Lucky for me it is just the sound and not something more critical. I'm most likely going to have to ship my laptop back to Dell.
