Capitalize

I read a lot of blogs. Mostly those from YG... er... WWF. (I still can't get used to that). And I see that the majority of these sites don't use proper capitalization. I'm sure this is done because they think it's kewl or 1337 or whatever. The truth is, capitalization actaully serves a very functional purpose.
  • Aids in distinguishing proper nouns from regular nouns. ie: Church and church. One is an organization, the latter is a building.

  • Aids in seperating sentences. When you have a bunch of sentences following each other, it is difficult to follow the flow of logic if you can't easy seperate where a sentence begins or ends. Yes, I know there is punctuation such as periods and commas, but these are often times too small to notice while scanning quickly.

Now, I totally understand the need to stand out and seem unique. I also see the need to fit in and be a participant. Whichever ideology one prescribes to is of little matter. The point is, why are spelling things correctly or using proper grammar seen as uncool?
