Chillin with Cindy

I went to dinner with Cindy, Gene and M last night. It's bee over a year since I got a chance to hang out with Cindy and I found that it was a little weird. Not awkward weird, but that sense that time has passed but it really hasn't weird. I had asked Cindy to choose a cuisine, and for some odd reason, she chose Greek or Mediteranean. So we went to one of the few Mediteranean restaurants that I knew of, Bospherous.

We talked about a few things, but it wasn't exactly sparkling conversation. Not that it was bad conversation, but just nothing really worth remembering. Eventually, Ben showed up and we started talking about Republicans. How nominal.

We watched The Punisher which was good for a laugh. It was interesting watching things with Cindy because she's a pretty sheltered person. She didn't know what "tool" meant, in the male "aperatus" definition, yet, she used the term constantly. Throughout the movie, we had to explain a lot of obvious things to her that you would've picked up from the trailer. Granted, she hasn't seen the trailer, but that's beside the point.

It was a decint night. The only thing that would've made it better was if there were more conversation. Considering Cindy's leaving for Boston soon, there won't be many opportunities for it.

One interesting thing of note, Cindy kept inquiring about my "new look", as if the new clothes and what not were a drastic departure from my "classic" style. Rather, my new look is more of a fusion of trashy grundge and clean lux. Granted, the level of lux is on the low end, but I do have plenty of nice clothes.
