trying to copy
I woke up a little late this morning. I set my alarm for 7 AM EST, but turned it off to sleep till 10 AM EST. I got up, realizing that there wasn't really much time left in the day. I jumped in the shower, pulled my stuff together and headed off to church.
I called Tony, because the files that were needed to print the programs ended up being around 70 MB. I wasn't sure if he had broadband, so I didn't want to needlessly throw it up onto Nanwob. We decided that we would photocopy the covers at church, and print the rest out on Tony's laser printer at home.
I found that I didn't have the original cover that M had printed out for me. Either I left it at her place last night while I was scanning in the pictures or I left it at home. I thought I had put it in my folder, but apprantly, it wasn't there. PTim hastily printed out a copy on his inkjet here at church. We threw it into the photocopier and proceeded to print out copies.
While the photocopy was doing its thing, I worked on the Power Point Presentation that would be used to display the pictures for the show. I think we're actually missing one picture, the one for Ken's monologue. Oh well, he'll have to make do.
As I finished up, I went to check on the photocopier. It was done with the first sheets, so I started feeding in the second side of the paper. It went through about 110 of them until it started complaining and saying there was either a jam or a misfeed. How does the copier go through more than 50% of the pages, just to decide to quit? We powered off the copier in hopes that all it needed to do was to cool down.
