cuban food

Peter went to have Korean food with his old crew and I didn't really feel like hanging out with them. They tend to be a little too fobby and just kind of boring for me. That, and I didn't feel like spending $15 USD or so on lunch.

Instead, Kenny, Juan, and I decided to go out to eat. We finally decided on a Cuban place. I've never had cuban food before so I was looking forward to it.

We drove around Union City or North Bergen for awhile. There was this one place that Juan took us to, but there was no parking around, so he took us to another place. There was ampling parking here.

Whenever I go to ethnic cuisines, I never know what to order. I tend to want "the best" or whatever, but that's not always possible. Juan suggested the shredded beef, so I got it.

The food was pretty good, very flavorful. Not too salty. But it wasn't anything amazing. Part of it might have been how hungry I was. The bread that they gave at the beginning of the meal was good. I looked like it was hard, but it was a little soft, but still firm. It was very good. There were a few pieces that looked like there was too much butter on it.
