to the retreat site

After work, I rushed home to pack for Winter Retreat. Not that it takes a long time, but the kids had left for the retreat site already and I didn't want to get there too late. Looking at what to pack, I decided to just pack 1 change of clothes. Oh, how I would come to regret that decision.

I went to pick up Becky from church. On the way, I picked up some Wendy's for dinner. It was interesting eating and driving and talking all at the same time.

On the way, we saw some really interesting sights. We passed Altec Lansing Technologies Inc. I'm such a geek, I was kind of excited when I saw it. It looked like it was their development or headquarters or something. It didn't look big enough to be their production site.

We also passed this restaurant called Appl[sic] Grill. We weren't sure whether it was a rip off of AppleBee's or what. It was really amusing.

When we got to the retreat site, the kids had just gotten there a few minutes before us. We left 40 minutes later than they did and showed up like 5 minutes later than they did.
